She once Loved

She once Loved
She stayed there weeping,
Shedding tears from eyes which once gleamed with joy,
Once when someone called them pearls…
She remembered the days when he said her smile melted his heart,
Now he  just froze her wiping her smile forever…
Sense of nostalgia swept over her when the memory flashed across her eyes,
Those were the perfect days, the best of her life,
When he called her soft and fragile,
And now he left her,
Broke her,
Mercilessly…
Her world revolved around him,
For world they think she is no longer living,
But no one knows that she once loved…

She believed him blindly,
The fantasies seemed so realistic,
She failed to think where she was leading to,
She was so lost in his eyes,
Now,
She is lost in the world full of strangers,
But no one knows that she once loved…

He took her dainty hand,
They danced in the rain,
He kissed her saying, ‘You are the only one.’
She saw vivid colorful dreams with him,
He promised to take her in his world,
But now,
The entire world came crashing down to her,
But no one knows that she once loved…

She was waiting for him with sparkle in eye which was now dim,
Smile on her lips withered away,
When there was no sign of him and his white horse,
Her dreams which now seemed colorless hit her back,
Causing even more agony,
She could see the world getting blur through her moist eyes,
But no one knows that she once loved…
